Mónica Tentori is a principal researcher in the Computer Science Department at the Center for Scientific Research and Higher Education (CICESE), where she investigates the human experience of ubiquitous computing to inform the design of ubiquitous environments that effectively enhance humans’ interactions with their world. Her research intersecting HCI and ubiquitous computing focuses on designing, developing, and evaluating natural user interfaces, self-reflection capture tools, and new interaction models for ubiquitous computing. Tentori was the first Latin-American woman to receive the Microsoft Research Fellowship.
